SWASTIKA ACADEMY OF FINE ARTS, true to its name, is dedicated to spreading positivity, well-being, and cultural enrichment to every individual who becomes a part of its family. Established in 1998 by Mrs. and Mr. P. Baskaran, the academy has, since its inception, been committed to nurturing young minds and helping them blossom through the rich traditions of Indian music and fine arts.
The word "Swastika" originates from Sanskrit and signifies well-being, good fortune, happiness, and prosperity. It is an ancient and sacred symbol representing positive energy, harmony, and auspiciousness. Inspired by these timeless values, the Academy was founded with the vision of bringing out the very best in every student.
At Swastika, we firmly believe that participation in fine arts and extracurricular activities greatly enhances a student's overall development. The discipline, concentration, patience, and perseverance cultivated through music and the arts naturally complement academic pursuits, enabling students to excel not only in their studies but also in their personal growth.
Engaging in a meaningful artistic pursuit provides balance, self-expression, and a deep sense of fulfillment. It instills self-confidence, nurtures creativity, and equips individuals with the strength and perspective needed to face life's challenges with optimism and determination. Moreover, a healthy passion for the arts encourages positive values and constructive use of time, contributing to the development of well-rounded, responsible, and culturally enriched individuals.
For over two decades, Swastika Academy of Fine Arts has remained steadfast in its mission of preserving India's rich artistic heritage while inspiring generations of students to discover their talents, embrace excellence, and lead balanced and meaningful lives.
